A technology system helping retailers to track visitor numbers in stores has scooped a major international prize for Australian company Beonic.
The technology and smart software business was the only Australian firm to win an award at the annual Asia Pacific Information and Communication Technology Awards at the weekend.
Beonic was announced the winner of the applications and infrastructure tools category for its Traffic Insight System.
The awards recognise the region's best IT innovators. Chief executive Peter Cohen said the win would add momentum to the adoption of the company's retail intelligence products internationally. PDF
