As well as storing the count information from the sensors, they also provide the power for the sensors over the sensor cabling, thus eliminating the need for local power at every entry. The Event Loggers come with onboard memory that allows them to store data for up to 6 months.
All event loggers come equipped with a serial port to allow for firmware upgrades. There are two series of Event Loggers, the 400 Series and the 800 series, both with an Ethernet option. See the list below for more information:
400 Series.
- 4 Channels (Normally 2 entries)
- 2MB of Internal memory
- RS422/485 Communications for linking loggers together
- Serial Port for firmware upgrades and Direct Connection to PC
- Ethernet option (Model 410)
- Direct reading of count information from LCD Screen
- Occupancy measure for Nightclub/Hotel environments
800 Series
- 8 Channels (Normally 4 entries)
